Tuesday’s Thought:  What if you were never born?

 Do you know that your life touches far more people than you realize EVERY day? Often times we feel so insignificant in the overall scheme of things & we say that we don’t really matter. I beg to differ my friend! Consider this: What about that man you smiled at today that you didn’t know? Your smile prevented him from taking his life. What you didn’t know is that he said in his heart that no one truly cared and dared God to have a total stranger just simply smile at him. Your simple kindness not only saved his life but it prevented a catastrophic chain of events that affected his immediate family, friends, and coworkers, which could easily be a number in the hundreds. Not to mention that he would now be spending his eternity in HELL! God decides every aspect of our life from the geographical location to the time and history we are born even down to our socio-economic status.

 Acts 17:24  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25  Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

So before you begin complaining about your life and the situation you currently find yourself in– remember that everything has a purpose in your life and most importantly someone elses life!

Down The Rabbit Hole

Thursday’s Thought:

 Psalm 1:1  BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. [Amplified]

 When was the last time you’ve gotten advice from someone and their advice was not grounded in the word of God or even more detrimental, they were not believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Did you follow this advice? If we live our lives after the dictates of worldly influences or fleshly desires, we will ultimately begin to walk and talk as the sinner. If we don’t check ourselves we will then become complacent and begin to relax in the wrong way of living. So how does the believer prevent this from happening? Well the scripture says that our delight should be in the law of the LORD; and in his law we should meditate day and night. :::Psalm 1:2 So we can conclude by the word of God, if we are delighting in His word day and night we can detect when we are being influenced by another “voice”. What it is simply meant by this is that WHATEVER we receive to act on via a word or instruction must NOT contradict God’s Word. The only way we can know that is by studying His Word and through an ongoing communion with God – prayer.

 This is the only way we can grow and be strong in the Lord. This is the way where TRUE prosperity lies. This is way that will keep you from being destructive and end up perishing in an eternal death.
