DAY SEVEN:

I’ve decided that I would dedicate some time to write about conversations & experiences I’ve had since November 4th 2008 leading up to Inauguration 2009. In the past seven days it has been a roller coaster ride. I’ve experienced blatant racism such as I have never experienced in my life and I have also encountered an unspoken sense of unity. On both accounts not just from Americans of African descent but from other American ethnic groups as well. As I looked at the news from all around the world there is a sense of “Change” that is almost overwhelmingly intoxicating. The underdog, the most unlikely, the one that is not like the majority is now in a position that is called the Most Powerful in the world. Some see President Elect Obama as some type of ’saviour ’ and this my friends is very dangerous. Let me make one thing perfectly clear — ALL authority is sanctioned by God. What this simply means is because God is Omnipotent and has ordained authority it is He who allows those to step into delegated authority for His plans and purposes. This is why He has called those believers to pray for ALL of those who are in authority. Most of the time or dare I say ALL of the time we give too much honor to men and place an 42-15541683unattainable expectation on leadership. This expectation should only be given to the Lord. As I expressed before this Move of God and notice I said Move of God will facilitate SEVERAL different things, some of those things I will talk about in later writings. For now I would like to express that we ALL should celebrate with dignity because we have truly witness the Hand of God and please be careful that in your celebration you don’t get slipped a “mickey”.

Until next time…
